Why Do Only Two Photos Print in Each Chapter of My Missionary's Book?

Each chapter in your printed book features the two photos you choose from that week's email, printed directly on the page. Every other photo your missionary sent that week is still saved and reachable through a QR code printed alongside the chapter.

How it works

Your missionary is not limited to sending only two photos. They can attach up to 100 photos to a weekly email, and every one of those photos is captured and stays connected to that week's chapter. When the book goes to print, though, the physical page only fits a couple of photos alongside the text, so the two you select appear directly on the page.

For example, if your missionary sends eight photos from a baptism, all eight are saved with that chapter. You choose the two best shots to appear in print, and a reader who wants to see the rest can scan the QR code next to that chapter to view the remaining six.

What this means for you

You are in control of which two photos print. Before you order your book, open the chapter in the Storied story editor and move your two favorite photos to the top of that week's photo collection. Those two are the ones that appear on the printed page.

You can change your selection any time before you finalize and order the book, so there is no rush to decide the moment photos come in. Anyone reading the finished book - family members, friends, future generations - can scan the QR code with a phone to see every photo from that week, not just the two that were printed.

Can I add more than two photos to a single email or chapter? Yes. Attach up to 100 photos. All of them stay linked to that chapter, and two are featured in print.

Do I need an internet connection to view the rest of the photos? Yes, scanning the QR code opens a webpage, so you'll need a phone with internet access to see the full set.

Can I choose different photos to print later? Yes, as long as you have not finalized and ordered the book yet. Reordering which photos sit at the top of the collection updates what prints.
