Yes. Your missionary's emails and photos are stored securely with 256-bit encryption, you control who can see them, and your family's data is never shared or sold for any other purpose.

How it works

Every email and photo captured for your missionary's book is stored using 256-bit encryption, the same level of security used by banks and other services that handle sensitive information. Within Storied, you control the default visibility setting for each story, and you can adjust that visibility at any time as your needs change.

No one on our team reads your missionary's emails. The optional grammar and spelling cleanup is handled entirely by an automated system, not a person, so even that process does not involve anyone reviewing your missionary's words.

What this means for you

You decide who can see your missionary's book, and that setting is yours to change whenever you want. Your data is not sold or shared with outside parties for marketing or any other purpose beyond what is needed to build, print, and ship your book.

Your data also stays in your account for as long as you want it there. Nothing is automatically deleted or expires on its own. If you ever decide you want everything removed, that is entirely within your control too, you just need to ask.
